The ideal candidate will have a marketing background, be passionate about technology, open source, the web and be very familiar with Mozilla products. The internship will be based in our Paris office for 3-6 months.

EU Community Marketing Internship

Location : Paris, France

Duration : 3-6 months

Reporting to the EU Community Marketing Manager, the EU community marketing intern will help define, design and implement local community marketing campaigns and activities.

Internship responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, designing and implementing new community programs and marketing campaigns
  • Communicate daily with european community member via IRC, forums, blogs etc...
  • Assist with planning and logistics of Mozilla community events
  • Represent Mozilla at conferences, tech fairs, community gatherings and various public events
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree level. Fluent in at least one European language, plus English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully, with minimal supervision
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Experience with open source an asset

The intern will receive a basic salary, details of which will be discussed in the interview process. The deadline for submissions is Friday March 20th 2009.
